As the central government has announced the budget, let’s see what is the income and expenditure per rupee.
Out of one rupee, 4 paisa is spent on pension, 21 paisa on state tax distribution, 9 paisa on finance commission expenditure, 16 paisa on central sector schemes and 8 paisa on defence.
Similarly, it is said that out of that one rupee, 8 paisa is spent on central government support schemes, 6 paisa on subsidies, 19 paisa on interest and 9 paisa on other expenses.
Similarly, it has been reported that 19 paisa from income tax, 5 paisa from excise duty, 17 paisa from company tax, 18 paisa from goods and services tax and 4 paisa from customs duty are available as revenue.
Similarly, it has been said that 27 paisa will be available from revenue including credit, 1 paisa from non-loan capital receipt and 9 paisa from non-tax revenue receipt.
