August 8, 11 AM, Delhi – Mahapanchayat: A Nationwide Hindu Movement to Repeal the Biased 1951 HR&CE Act
A united movement involving 100 crore Hindus across India is being organized to demand the repeal of the discriminatory “Hindu Religious and Charitable Endowments (HR&CE) Act of 1951”. Just like mosques and churches, temples must also be allowed to operate independently without state interference. Funds misused or looted from temples over the decades must be returned by the governments.
The Save India Movement is conducting a Mahapanchayat on August 8 at 11 AM at Jantar Mantar, Delhi, calling for action on the following key demands:
- Repeal the “Hindu Religious and Charitable Endowments (HR&CE) Act, 1951”!
- Return temple lands and funds systematically taken post-independence by governments!
- Free temples and mutts from state control!
- Establish a National Hindu Commission!
Hindus must awaken.
It’s time to stand together to protect our temples, our faith, and our rights.
