According to the investigation conducted on the arrested Madan, he paid between Rs 5,000 and Rs 5 lakh if he recorded a video praising Babji Madan. Madan, who had posted a video on his U-Tube talking obscenely about women and children, was arrested by the Central Crime Branch police in Dharmapuri today. When police found out that Madan was hiding in Dharmapuri while Madan was still in hiding using a VPN server, it was reported that Madan fell on his feet and begged for tears. He is also said to have begged for more than his wife and child.
When the police confiscated and checked the tape he used to upload the videos from Madan, it was revealed that there were several videos in it that were ready to be uploaded. The investigation also revealed that Madani had prepared the woman by giving her money to talk obscenely in the video. Not only this, it was revealed that all the videos released in support of Madan claiming to be helping the needy were false and that Madan had paid Rs 5,000 to Rs 5 lakh to those who could praise him and had aired the video on his channel and collected more money from the viewers.
In particular, it has been found that Madan gave up to 5 lakh rupees only to a woman named Rani. It was also revealed that he had bought 2 luxury cars, 2 luxury bungalows and kept up to Rs 4 crore in a bank account with the money he earned through the video released in an obscene manner. Following this, the police have frozen the bank account of Babji Madan and Krithika. Both Madan’s luxury cars were confiscated and kept at the Commissioner of Police’s office. Following this, the religious police arrested in Dharmapuri are to be brought to Chennai to conduct an investigation. Police are also planning to take Madan’s wife Krithika into custody and conduct an investigation.
