On the occasion of the International Day of Yoga, BJP National President JP Natta, Union Minister Amit Shah and others participated in yoga practice.
BJP National President and Union Minister JP Natta practiced yoga at the Yamuna Sports Ground in Delhi. Speaking at that time, he said that under the leadership of Prime Minister Modi, yoga has gone to different parts of the world and asked the public to follow yoga in their daily life and reap the benefits.
Union Home Minister Amit Shah indulged in yoga practice in Ahmedabad. Speaking on the occasion, he said that yoga is India’s gift to mankind and the world and the world has accepted yoga. He said that today more than one crore people practice yoga and Prime Minister Modi played an important role in bringing yoga to the world.
Union Minister Sarbanand Sonowal, who took part in yoga practice at a program held in Assam, said that under the leadership of Prime Minister Modi, people of the world have accepted yoga and this is India’s achievement.
Odisha Chief Minister Mohan Charan engaged in yoga practice at the Yoga Day program held at Kalinga Maidan, Bhubaneswar. Similarly, Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sharma practiced yoga at a function held in Tezpur.
