A special court in Mumbai has issued a warrant against businessman Vijay Mallya in a case of non-repayment of bank loans.
A complaint was filed by the Indian Overseas Bank for non-repayment of Rs 180 crore loan granted to Vijay Mallya and his company between 2007-2012.
While the police have registered a case against 10 people including Vijay Mallya, this case was being investigated in a special court in Mumbai.
While all 10 accused have been summoned, Vijay Mallya did not appear and the special court in Mumbai issued a warrant for him.
