According to the economic report, the GDP growth of the country will be 6.5% to 7% in the financial year 2025.

Central Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman presented a report explaining the economic condition of the country in the Lok Sabha.

The 476-page report explains the economic reform measures taken in the last financial year.

Retail inflation is well managed despite various issues including international issues and changes in monsoons.

The economic report also said that retail inflation, which was 6.7 percent in 2023, has come down to 5.4 percent in fiscal 2024.

The economic report said that although the inflation rate of certain food items has risen, the overall inflation rate has remained under control.
