BJP MLA Nayanar Nagendran has answered the question whether he will be appointed as Tamil Nadu BJP president.

The DMK alliance won all 39 constituencies in the recently concluded Lok Sabha elections in Tamil Nadu. Due to this, both parties AIADMK and BJP could not win even a single constituency. Narendra Modi had also talked about BJP’s inability to win a constituency in Tamil Nadu. However, the party claims that BJP’s vote percentage has increased.

Especially in South Tamil Nadu, BJP has pushed AIADMK back. In constituencies including Tirunelveli, Kanyakumari, Madurai, Theni, BJP and its alliance candidates have come second. Though the alliance with OPS is one reason, the trinity community votes are seen to have swung towards the BJP.

Meanwhile, Narendra Modi will take office for the 3rd time tomorrow. It is said that 2 people from Tamilnadu are likely to be given ministerial responsibility in Prime Minister Modi’s cabinet. In particular, it has been reported that Tamil Nadu BJP leader Annamalai will be given the post of Union Minister.

Due to this, it is said that there will be various changes in Tamil Nadu BJP. There are reports that Nayanar Nagendran or Tamilisai Selandarajan are more likely to be appointed as Tamil Nadu BJP President. Speaking about this, BJP MLA Nayanar Nagendran said that BJP has personally seen tremendous growth in Tamil Nadu.

BJP candidates got a total of around 50 lakh votes. Through this, about 11.24 percent votes have been obtained. My election defeat has nothing to do with the seizure of Rs.4 crores. I have already said this many times. Similarly, we all worked together for success in BJP. Thus I accept the verdict of the people.

If there is a BJP-AIADMK alliance then the idea of victory must be seen from the point of view of each person. Because in 2019 we failed in alliance. Also I don’t know anything about the changes happening in Tamilnadu BJP. He said that the party leadership should decide on this.

For the BJP, Tamilisai Selandararajan, L. Murugan and Annamalai all come from different social backgrounds. BJP grew in their respective regions during their leadership. Now that the trinity community votes have increased for the BJP, it is seen that Naynar Nagendran is more likely to be appointed as the state president.
