Nirmala Sitharaman, the Central Minister, and Vijay Rupani, the former Chief Minister of Gujarat, have been appointed as the central observers for Maharashtra BJP.

Although the results of the Maharashtra Legislative Assembly elections were declared a week ago, there has been a delay in electing the Chief Minister. To resolve this issue quickly, central observers have been appointed.

Meanwhile, Maharashtra BJP President Chandrashekhar Bawankule has announced that the Chief Minister’s swearing-in ceremony will take place on the 5th of December. This suggests that new political developments are expected in the state.
