The Chennai Meteorological Department has forecast heavy rains in one or two places in the Nilgiris, Coimbatore and Theni districts on Wednesday (June 16) due to the southwest monsoon.
The rest of the western Thotchi hills are likely to receive light to moderate showers at one or two places in Tiruppu, Dindigul, Tenkasi and Kanyakumari districts. Salem, Erode, Dharmapuri and Krishnagiri districts will receive light rain at one or two places. Other districts will experience mostly dry weather.
