Chhoriyan Chali Gaon: Anita Hassanandani Swaps Glamour for Rural Life in New Reality Show
Several promos for Chhoriyan Chali Gaon have already revealed a few contestants, and the newest teaser confirms Anita Hassanandani as one of the participants.
While fans of Salman Khan may have to wait a bit more for Bigg Boss 19, a fresh reality show titled Chhoriyan Chali Gaon is turning heads with its unique format. The show features popular actresses experiencing rural living.
Some teasers have already introduced a few of the contenders, and the most recent one confirms that Naagin fame Anita Hassanandani will be joining the show, which will be hosted by Rannvijay Singha.
The latest promo, released by ZeeTV, presents Anita as one of Indian television’s most fashionable and iconic vamps. The video opens with a series of stunning shots showing her glamorous avatar. But she soon confesses her fears, admitting that she’s actually terrified of the possibility of encountering ghosts in the village.
Though the official premiere date remains unannounced, Anita spoke to News18 Showsha about Chhoriyan Chali Gaon and shared, “In this show, people will get to see the real me. I won’t be wearing makeup or be all dressed up. We’ll be doing what villagers do — engaging with them and their way of life. It’s going to be a different kind of show, more raw and authentic. I took up this show mostly because it offers something different. It’s packed with everything that makes a show successful — fun, humour, sweetness, emotion, and task-based competition. All the right ingredients are there, and I truly hope it performs well.”
“My approach is simple — go in with an open heart and mind, give my all, and try to win as many tasks as I can. I’m not overanalyzing, just jumping into each challenge and absorbing all I can. I want to walk away thinking, ‘I actually did that!’ At this stage in life, this is a brand-new adventure, and I’m really looking forward to it,” she added.
Speaking about Bigg Boss, Anita mentioned she hasn’t made up her mind yet. For now, her attention is fully on Chhoriyan Chali Gaon and soaking in the experience.
Other contestants on the show include Aishwarya Khare, Rameet Sandhu, Surabhi Mehra, and Samridhi Mehra.
