International research institutes have been saying that the death toll from Corona has been high.
The deadly virus, Corona, was first detected in Wuhan, China in December 2019.
Millions of people have died due to Corona in India. According to official government data, 4,81,000 people died from this deadly disease. However, international research institutes continue to claim that the death toll from Corona is higher than the number released by the Indian government.
According to the report, there may be an additional 11.9 lakh deaths due to corona in India in 2020, which is 8 times more than the number officially announced by the government.
However, the Central Health Ministry has said that the results of this study are not acceptable and there are various irregularities. In a statement issued by the ministry in this regard, “There are many flaws in this study. That is why the researchers came to wrong conclusions. 99 percent of the deaths were recorded in India’s civil registration system.
India saw 4.74 lakh more deaths in 2020 compared to 2019. Therefore, the claim of 11.99 lakh more casualties is unacceptable,” it said.
