Tamil Nadu Governor R.N.Ravi has said that “unlike other years, a dark incident has taken place in Kallakurichi due to drug addiction” and “this incident is unacceptable”.
An Anti-Drug Day event was held at the Governor’s House in Guindy, Chennai. In this, Governor R.N.Ravi unveiled a banner against international drug use and illegal trafficking.
He also presented an anti-drug awareness banner to the public. Speaking on the occasion, Governor RN. Ravi lamented that “the future of the country is affected due to youth addiction to drugs” and the culture is affected by this.
He continued to speak and said, “Drugs are affecting Tamil Nadu in a big way” and “many crime incidents have taken place in Tamil Nadu due to drug addiction”.
“Unlike other years, this year a dark event has taken place in Kallakurichi due to drug addiction,” Governor RN Ravin said with pain.
