Prime Minister Narendra Modi has condoled the demise of Shri Mahant Satyendra Das, the Chief Priest of Ram Janmabhoomi Temple.
The Prime Minister has praised the Mahant, saying that he was an expert in religious rituals and scriptures and that he dedicated his entire life to the service of Lord Shri Ram.
In a post on X-Sala, he said,
“Deeply saddened by the demise of Shri Mahant Satyendra Das, the Chief Priest of Ram Janmabhoomi Temple. Mahant Ji, who was well versed in religious rituals and scriptures, dedicated his entire life to the service of Lord Shri Ram.
His invaluable contribution to the spiritual and social life of the country will always be remembered with reverence. I pray that God gives strength to his family and his supporters in this hour of grief. Om Shanti!
