DMK govt TASMAC ₹1,000 crore scam… BJP executives and workers protest… Police arrest

The DMK government has attempted to suppress the BJP’s planned siege protest against the TASMAC scam, which is estimated to exceed ₹1,000 crore. As part of this move, Tamil Nadu police have preemptively arrested BJP leaders, administrators, and party workers who were set to participate in the protest. This action is seen as an attempt by the ruling DMK to silence opposition voices.

The BJP has been consistently exposing irregularities in liquor taxation and the government’s TASMAC operations. In this regard, the party has sought public support through various protests. The people of Tamil Nadu are well aware that the primary accused in this massive TASMAC scam is none other than Chief Minister M.K. Stalin. Despite efforts to keep such large-scale corruption under wraps, the DMK government has repeatedly attempted to suppress any movement that brings these issues to light.

However, BJP state president Annamalai has firmly stated that the party will not back down from its fight for justice. “Our struggle will continue. Let’s see how many times you can try to suppress us,” he declared, condemning the government’s actions.

Given the current scenario, the BJP is expected to intensify its protests and put further pressure on the Tamil Nadu government. The party is determined to expose the illegal sale of liquor, the mismanagement of public funds, and the corruption deeply rooted in the DMK administration. In the coming days, the BJP may plan further large-scale movements to ensure that these issues reach the people and are addressed appropriately.
