DMK Government’s Corruption Allegations – Annamalai Condemns the Attack on Savukku Shankar

Tamil Nadu BJP State President Annamalai has strongly condemned the attack on YouTuber Savukku Shankar. He alleged that this attack was orchestrated as a response to Shankar’s open criticism of corruption within the DMK government.

Savukku Shankar’s Allegation

Savukku Shankar claimed that a group of around 50 people, disguising themselves as sanitation workers, attempted to attack his residence, where he lives with his mother. He described the incident as a planned assault and expressed suspicion over the motive behind it.

Annamalai’s Statement

In his official statement, Annamalai said:

“The DMK government is continuously resorting to intimidation and oppressive measures against those who expose its corruption and lawlessness. It has been filing cases, sending police to threaten individuals at midnight, and even invoking the Goondas Act against critics.

The attack on Savukku Shankar is highly condemnable. Despite intruders attempting to enter his residence for nearly three hours, the police have not taken any action yet. This raises serious concerns about who is behind this incident.

The continued lawlessness under this administration is dangerous for democracy. Those responsible for this attack must be brought to justice, and law and order must be upheld.”

Conclusion

This incident has sparked significant political controversy in Tamil Nadu. Was this attack truly a retaliation for Shankar’s corruption allegations against the DMK government? Will law enforcement take proper action? The situation remains tense and under close scrutiny.
