Tamil Nadu BJP vice-president Annamalai has strongly condemned the DMK’s dual role in the NEET affair, saying “none of these people allow students to study”.
In a statement issued today:
“Under the Congress rule, the Medical Association of India launched NEET examinations across the country in 2013. When the medical college admissions across India took place in 2016 through the NEET solution, Prime Minister Modi intervened and saw that only Tamil Nadu was exempted from the NEET examination.
The NEET election was spied on by the Congress-ruling states and the Communist-ruled state. Tamil Nadu is not an exception and everyone knows who sued in the Supreme Court that NEET selection should not be canceled after which NEET has been confirmed. The stretch cannot be sued by the court. The performance of the students has been increasing year by year through NEET examination. In Tamil Nadu, in the years 2019 and 2020, the state government has revised the syllabus and introduced a syllabus similar to the NEED examination in schools.
As a result, the pass percentage in Tamil Nadu has increased from 48.57% in 2019 to 5744% in 2020. The number of NEET candidates writing in Tamil has increased from 1,071 in 2019 to 17,101 in 2020. The 7.5% internal reservation brought by Mr. Edappadi Palanisamy’s government in Tamil Nadu is reminiscent of the medical dream of 334 rural government school students, from which it is easy to understand that the people of Tamil Nadu have accepted NEET.
NEET selection cannot be ignored by the court or by the federal government. The DMK also said that they would cancel the NEET election as soon as they came to power. Now that they have come to power they are meeting the Prime Minister of India and asking him to exempt NEET from the exam. It has already been given in 2016. Health Minister Mr. M. Subramaniam has been saying that even though the Government of Tamil Nadu is conducting training classes for NEED examination, NEED examination will be canceled soon. This is an attempt to confuse students by talking back and forth and none of these seem to be going to let students study. Tamil Nadu students and parents need to understand that the NEET exam cannot be canceled by the ruling state government.
This is something that the Supreme Court has confirmed. The NEET selection in the general list cannot be canceled by a resolution. So the Minister of Education, the Minister of Health, Mr. Ma Subramaniam, or the Chief Minister should stop confusing the people and the students and this year, wholeheartedly, conduct better training classes in schools and give students the opportunity to study well and pass the NEET exam and go to medical college. The DMK must stop confusing people and students for political gain. ”
NEET Exam – Confusing students & parents to hide their wanton lies has become the habit of @arivalayam @BJP4TamilNadu pic.twitter.com/DBhRRRs4Sm
