During the Congress rule, state govts were overthrown 90 times… JP Natta

BJP National President and Central Minister JP Natta alleged that during the period when the Congress was in power at the Centre, the elected state governments were overthrown 90 times.

Speaking at the State BJP Executive Committee meeting held in Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh, he said that the Central Government had explained in the Parliament that the President’s rule in Jammu and Kashmir was temporary before it was brought.

Natta alleged that the Constitution says that reservation should not be given on the basis of religion, but the Congress had tried to give reservation on the basis of religion four times in Andhra alone.

He said that even though there are more than 1,500 political parties in the country, not even one of them has intra-party democracy and proudly expressed that BJP is the only one working with national interest in mind.
