‘Family Day Out’: Pankhuri Awasthy Shares Cute Pictures With Husband, Children
Pankhuri Awasthy Rode is all set to return to the screen with Yash Patnaik’s television show Dhakkad Beera.
Pankhuri Awasthy is preparing to make her television comeback through a powerful guest appearance in Dhakkad Beera. After becoming a mother to twins, the actress is now looking to balance her responsibilities as a mother along with her love for acting. Recently, Pankhuri posted some heart-warming glimpses of her ‘family day out’ with her husband Gautam Rode and their children Radhya and Raditya on her Instagram profile, leaving her followers delighted.
While sharing the charming pictures with her fans, she captioned them, “Family’s Day Out! (followed by heart emojis).” In the first image, Pankhuri Awasthy and Gautam Rode can be seen holding their twin babies. The actress sported a simple yet trendy blue-and-white striped outfit along with white sneakers. Meanwhile, her husband chose a black T-shirt, black trousers, and black shoes, keeping it classic and neat.
However, it was their cute twins who stole the spotlight. Dressed in coordinated red and white floral clothes, the two were seen holding hands and smiling adorably.
The actress, who gave birth to twins—a boy and a girl—in July 2023, also spoke recently about her return to acting. In a conversation with ETimes, Pankhuri said, “I’m just gradually stepping back into work. Taking up a short-term role seemed like the perfect way to begin, especially to understand how well I can manage both worlds. But I wouldn’t have agreed if the character wasn’t impactful and performance-oriented.”
She also confessed that dealing with ‘mom guilt’ has been one of the biggest challenges in resuming work. She said, “It’s something I constantly deal with. As thrilling as it is to return to acting, my children are at the heart of every decision I make. I always find myself balancing between being a mother and an actor. But I feel it’s all about good planning. Today’s mothers are the busiest and most stressed because we wish to excel in everything.”
She further added, “Initially, I thought of taking my kids along for the outdoor shoot in Patiala, but I realised that managing them alongside filming would be too much. So, I flew in my mother from Lucknow and also had my mother-in-law step in. I have a strong support circle, and with twins, that’s a must.”
In terms of work, Pankhuri Awasthy is remembered for her performances in shows such as Suryaputra Karn, Razia Sultan, and Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai. She has also featured in Gud Se Meetha Ishq and Kaun Hai?.
