Fire Erupts at AIIMS Delhi’s Mother and Child Block; 10 Fire Engines Deployed
A fire broke out at the Mother and Child Block of AIIMS Delhi on Thursday evening, prompting an immediate response from the Delhi Fire Services (DFS). No injuries or casualties have been reported so far.
Fire officials stated that they received the alert at approximately 5:15 PM. Ten fire tenders were promptly sent to the site to tackle the blaze.
“We deployed 10 fire tenders to the hospital, and firefighting operations are currently underway,” a DFS spokesperson said.
The cause of the fire remains unknown, and authorities plan to launch an investigation once the flames are fully extinguished.
