Tamil Nadu BJP President Annamalai has strongly criticized the ruling DMK government, stating that the people will soon remove it from power.
Here are the key allegations made by Annamalai:
- Dynastic Politics and Corruption – He accused the DMK government of being controlled by a single family and claimed that the cabinet is deeply involved in corruption.
- Illegal Activities and Drug Menace – Annamalai alleged that the DMK government is turning a blind eye to illegal activities and has allowed Tamil Nadu to become a hub for drugs and illicit liquor.
- Debt Burden and Decline in Education Sector – He stated that the DMK’s financial mismanagement has led to a massive increase in state debt and that the quality of education has significantly deteriorated.
- Lack of Safety for Women and Children – He criticized the government for failing to ensure a safe environment for women and children, accusing it of negligence in handling these issues.
- Caste and Religious Politics – He accused the DMK of engaging in divisive politics based on caste and religion, which he claimed is harming social harmony.
- Unfulfilled Election Promises – Annamalai claimed that the DMK government has failed to fulfill most of its election promises, leading to widespread dissatisfaction among the public.
In response, DMK Minister Ma. Subramanian dismissed Annamalai’s allegations, calling him politically immature and stating that the DMK government has successfully implemented numerous welfare schemes for the people.
The ongoing political battle between the BJP and DMK continues to stir debates in Tamil Nadu’s political landscape.
