Defence Minister Rajnath Singh’s visit to Washington to conclude defence procurements has been called off.
India has reportedly put on hold its plans to acquire several American defence platforms, a step being viewed as a response to US President Donald Trump’s 50% tariff imposition.
According to a Reuters report, Defence Minister Rajnath Singh’s scheduled trip to Washington — where he was expected to finalise defence purchases — has now been cancelled.
