Grassroots Football Shines as DPDL Super Cup 2025 Concludes in Bengaluru
The DPDL Super Cup 2025 wrapped up at the Padukone-Dravid Centre for Sports Excellence, with Alchemy IFA, Belgaum United Football Academy (BUFA), and Football 4 Change Academy claiming top honours across various age groups.
India’s largest private youth football league, the DPDL Super Cup 2025, showcased exceptional talent as Alchemy IFA, BUFA, Alchemy IFA again, and Football 4 Change Academy won the U-11, U-13, U-15, and U-17 categories, respectively.
Over ten days of competition, 46 elite youth teams from 26 academies participated, featuring more than 750 players who demonstrated skill, determination, and sportsmanship. Across the entire DPDL season, over 730 teams and 11,350 players have competed, underscoring the rising potential of Indian football.
Officially affiliated with the All India Football Federation (AIFF) and backed by the Karnataka State Football Association (KSFA), the league saw intense matches involving teams from 10 states, all vying for top honours.
Several standout players received recognition for their performances. Luhenba (Alchemy IFA), Jekcham Abinash Singh (BUFA), Poireiinganba Yambem (Alchemy IFA), and Vicky Tingpui (Football 4 Change Academy) were named Players of the Tournament in the U-11, U-13, U-15, and U-17 categories, respectively, with accolades presented by KSFA Vice-President Shakeel Abdul Rahman P M and U23 Indian Men’s National Team Head Coach Naushad Moosa.

Built on six years of DPDL’s grassroots development, the 2025 edition featured matches at world-class facilities, live-streamed games, and the presence of scouts from both national and international clubs. The event also fostered cultural exchange, coach networking, and engagement with parents and stakeholders.
With over 152 matches, more than 5,400 minutes of play, and millions of digital impressions, the Super Cup has firmly established itself as a premier platform for emerging football talent. Preparations for the next season are underway, with plans to expand into Chennai, Kolkata, and Goa, in addition to Bengaluru, New Delhi, and Mumbai.
