How Tiger Shroff Responded To Sister Krishna’s Role In Chhoriyan Chali Gaon

Chhoriyan Chali Gaon is a reality television show where 11 well-known female celebrities, including Krishna Shroff, will spend 60 days in a rural village setting.

After impressing viewers on Khatron Ke Khiladi, where she displayed her courageous side, Krishna Shroff is now gearing up for a completely different experience—one that involves getting back to basics. She will next appear in Chhoriyan Chali Gaon, a reality programme in which 11 popular women celebrities will live in a village for 60 days, cut off entirely from modern comforts. On the show, they will adopt a traditional desi lifestyle—cooking on chulhas, fetching water manually, and learning age-old village customs. For many, it will be an unfamiliar but eye-opening experience. In a recent conversation, Krishna opened up about how her family reacted to her decision to join the show.

Speaking about her father Jackie Shroff and brother Tiger Shroff’s reactions, Krishna shared with Times of India, “My dad was thrilled when he heard about this. He said, ‘You must take this up.’ Everything he believes in and promotes is reflected in this show. I feel that through this experience, I’ll be able to understand him more deeply.”

Tiger Shroff’s Response

Talking about her mother and brother’s responses, she added, “My brother was like, ‘Are you sure you want to do this?’ He knows how much I love my comfort zone. My mom is happy about the concept but a little nervous about the time I’ll be away. We are very close. This kind of distance is new for us, but I believe we’ll come out of this stronger.”

Why Krishna Shroff Chose Chhoriyan Chali Gaon

For Krishna, joining Chhoriyan Chali Gaon is more about stepping out of her comfort zone to grow personally, rather than simply giving up luxuries. The toughest part for her? Staying away from her loved ones for such an extended time. “I’ll return stronger and more self-reliant,” she said.

There’s a clear reason why Krishna signed up for yet another reality show after Khatron Ke Khiladi. She confessed that she genuinely enjoys the reality show format, describing it as “authentic, unfiltered, and enjoyable.” She added that it feels like a dream to be yourself and get paid for it. As the conversation progressed, Krishna also mentioned that reality TV allows her to truly be herself, and she likes introducing herself simply as “Just Krishna.” “I enjoy when people recognise me,” she remarked.

Chhoriyan Chali Gaon is scheduled to premiere on August 3, with Rannvijay Singh Singha as the host.
