Husband Goals? Rohit Purohit’s Post For Sheena Bajaj Says It All
On May 15, Rohit posted a touching screenshot from a video call on his Instagram Stories, showing Sheena peacefully asleep. Along with the romantic song Koi Itna Khoobsurat Kaise Ho Sakta Hai, he wrote, “Please mujhe koi batao… (referring to the song) 12 saal se main ye hi soch raha hoon. Marogi toh nahi naa..?”
In an interview with ETimes, Sheena spoke about her pregnancy journey: “I conceived at the end of January, just a few days after our sixth wedding anniversary. Rohit has always loved children and wanted to have a baby for the longest time. When we decided to start our family, we didn’t expect it to take as long as it did.”
Rohit, currently seen as the male lead Armaan Poddar in Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai, shared, “I was in shock at first. Once the news sank in, tears of joy filled my eyes. I couldn’t react properly as I had to leave for a shoot. We waited for the doctor’s confirmation and the sonography. I’ve always wanted to become a father since we got married, and now it’s finally happening.”
He added, “I’m hoping for a daughter, someone with a nature that’s a perfect mix of Sheena’s and mine. I’m excited to take care of her. While I feel mentally ready to be a father, nothing truly prepares you until the baby arrives. I guess time will teach me everything I need to know.”
On the professional front, Rohit Purohit has been winning hearts with his role as Armaan Poddar in Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai, starring opposite Samridhii Shukla. Over the years, he has displayed his versatility in popular shows such as Razia Sultan, Dil Toh Happy Hai Ji, Udaariyaan, and Dhadkan Zindaggi Kii.
