Actor Kavin recently shared his experience regarding the film ‘Star’ in a recent interview. He discussed the doubts and considerations he had during the production process and reflected on how things unfolded.

When speaking about ‘Star,’ Kavin mentioned that the story seemed solid when he first heard it, which is why he decided to go ahead with the project. However, when he watched the final cut of the film, he felt that it was dragging a bit. To address this, he suggested trimming 20 minutes of the footage.

Kavin’s Suggestion to Cut 20 Minutes

Kavin explained that although the film was good, certain scenes felt out of place, which affected the overall pace of the film. To ensure a tighter narrative, he recommended cutting around 20 minutes of scenes.

However, the film crew did not agree with this suggestion and were confident in their final version. Despite Kavin’s concerns, they chose to retain the footage. Ultimately, Kavin’s initial worries proved to be true, as the film’s length became an issue. Reflecting on this, he said, “I knew this beforehand, and it happened as I had thought. But in the end, the producer was happy, and that’s what matters to me.”

Upcoming Film ‘Bloody Pecker’

Apart from this, Kavin is also excited about his new film, ‘Bloody Pecker,’ which is set to release on October 31, coinciding with the Diwali festival. The film has garnered significant anticipation among fans.

Experiences like these have made Kavin more mindful of story clarity and production decisions. He expressed that he hopes to avoid such issues in future projects, aiming for more streamlined and engaging films.
