Edappadi Palaniswami has said that he urges the DMK government to take action against the lawyer who attacked him.

This morning, as usual, Anirudhan, the Secretary of the Information Technology Division of Chengalpattu City in Chengalpattu West District and a lawyer of the association, was on his way from his house to the Chengalpattu court by car. DMK members blocked the car of lawyer Anirudhan at Rattinakinaru, damaged the car and attacked him. While the police on security duty there were watching the incident, passing motorists rescued Anirudhan and admitted him to the Chengalpattu Government Hospital for treatment.
I express my condemnation to the police of the DMK Stalin model government who were watching the attack on Anirudhan, the Secretary of the City Information Technology Division and AIADMK lawyer. Furthermore, I urge the DMK Stalin model government to take legal action against the DMK members who attacked. I pray to the Almighty God that Anirudhan, who is undergoing treatment in the hospital, will recover completely and return home.
