3 terrorists were shot dead in an encounter attack by the police in Assam. It is also reported that many policemen were seriously injured in this attack.

All the injured have been admitted to Silchar Medical College Hospital for treatment.

While there was no official information from the police side, a senior officer of the Assam Police Headquarters in Guwahati confirmed that 3 militants were shot dead in the encounter.
