In Punjab, Chief Minister Amarinder Singh is holding secret talks with dissidents to prevent the Congress party from breaking up.
Punjab is ruled by a Congress led by Chief Minister Amarinder Singh. Former cricketer and former minister Navjot Singh Sidhu has publicly raised the battle flag against Chief Minister Amarinder Singh. Some Congress MPs and MLAs have been working in support of Sidhu.
Congress MP who has been publicly criticizing himself. Amarinder Singh had met Pratap Singh Bajwa the day before yesterday. It is said that Bajwa has agreed to leave Amarinder’s opposition party.
Amarinder convened a meeting of state ministers last night. It was also attended by ministers who were allegedly part of his opposition faction. It has been reported that Amarinder has decided to meet the disgruntled MLAs separately.
