In Tamil Nadu, 8,633 people have been diagnosed with corona in the last 24 hours.
Following this, the total number of victims in Tamil Nadu has increased to 24,06,497.
The maximum number of corona infections was found in Coimbatore at 1,089, Erode at 964, Salem at 541 and Chennai at 492.
In the last 24 hours, 287 people have died after being treated for corona. Following this, the total death toll rose to 30,835.
A further 19,860 have recovered and returned home. So far a total of 22,86,653 people have recovered from the infection. Currently 89,009 people are being treated at the hospital.
Today, 1,63,649 people were tested for corona in a single day.
