In the last 24 hours, 42,640 new cases of corona have been confirmed in the country. In the last one day alone, 1,167 people have lost their lives.
For the 15th consecutive day, the number of corona infected in the country has come down to less than one lakh. At the same time, on 23 March last month, corona was confirmed in less than 50,000 i.e. 47,000 people. Corona was confirmed in 53,000 new people yesterday, but today it has come down to 42,000 or less than 10,000.
A statement issued by the Union Health Ministry today (June 22) said:
As of 9 am on Tuesday, 42,640 new cases of corona virus were reported. With this, the total number of corona victims has increased to 2,99,77,861.
A total of 6,62,521 people suffering from corona infection are being treated in various hospitals.
In the last 24 hours, 1,167 people have died due to corona infection, taking the total death toll to 3,89,302 so far.
According to the federal government, the total number has risen to 2,88,76,201 out of 81,839 people so far.
Vaccination:
A total of 28,87,66,201 vaccines were administered till 8 am on Monday. In the last 24 hours alone, 86,16,373 people have been vaccinated.
