India’s third bronze medal at Paris Olympics

India’s Swapnil Kusale won a bronze medal in the men’s 50m (3P) rifle event at the Paris Olympics. This is India’s third bronze medal at the Paris Olympics.

In the final round of 50m rifle 3 positions, Kusale won bronze in Swapnil. He scored 451.4 points and finished 3rd. China’s Y.K. Lu won gold with 463.6 points. Kulish of Ukraine won silver with 461 points.

Swapnil Kusale’s outstanding feat has not only made India proud but also highlighted his expertise in the sport of shooting. Meanwhile, Swapnil’s father congratulated his son after winning bronze for India in the shooting competition.

India has so far won three bronze medals at the Paris Olympics. Manu Bagar also won a bronze medal in the women’s 10m air pistol event held last Sunday. After that, Manu Bakar and Sarabjot Singh won bronze in the 10m air pistol mixed team category. It is noteworthy that India is currently at the 41st position in the medal list.

The 33rd Olympic Games are being held in Paris, the capital of France. The Olympic festival which started on 26th August will continue till 11th August. Various sports are held in more than 30 centers across France.
