India’s Tough Stand: Amit Shah Instructs States to Deport Pakistani Nationals
In the aftermath of the recent terrorist attack in Pahalgam, Jammu and Kashmir, where around 28 tourists reportedly lost their lives, India has taken a firm stance against Pakistan and its citizens. Intelligence reports suggest that the attack was orchestrated by a Pakistan-based terror outfit, escalating tensions between the two nations.

During this discussion, he reportedly instructed the states to identify and immediately deport any Pakistani nationals residing within their jurisdiction. This directive includes not only illegal immigrants but also individuals whose visas have expired or are under scrutiny for suspicious activities.
State governments have since begun coordinating with local law enforcement and intelligence agencies to compile lists of Pakistani nationals currently residing in their territories. In some states, Pakistani nationals may be present through marriage or other temporary arrangements. Authorities are now reviewing all documentation, visa statuses, and reasons for their stay to ensure compliance with the Centre’s directive.
The Indian government’s actions highlight its zero-tolerance policy toward terrorism and its sponsors.
