In this case, a rally was organized by Sanatan Jakaran Mancha to emphasize the safety of minorities including Hindus and Christians living in Bangladesh.
The rally was held on 8-point demands, including the need for a special court to investigate cases of persecution of minorities, enactment of the Minority Protection Act, and establishment of the Ministry of Minority Affairs. Thousands of people participated in this grand rally which started in Chattogram area.
