Jasmin Bhasin Reiterates She Isn’t a Traitor — But Watch Before You Decide
Though the tears in Jasmin Bhasin’s eyes and the sincerity in her words might initially persuade you, it’s wise to hold off on judgment for a bit.
Jasmin Bhasin has unveiled a teaser video promoting the upcoming reality show The Traitors. Set to debut today, June 12, the show explores betrayal, strategy, and suspense. Jasmin will be seen competing with 19 other participants. In the teaser, the television star appears visibly emotional as she addresses accusations of her being a traitor. While her tear-filled eyes and genuine tone may win you over quickly, it’s best to reserve your verdict.
In the video, Jasmin is seated in a chair, dressed in an eye-catching co-ord outfit. Clearly affected by the allegations, she says, “The past few days have been extremely tough. Everyone keeps calling me a traitor. How can I be one? I don’t even know how to strategize. That’s why I always did terribly in Maths at school. I never learned how to scheme or plan. Even when I play UNO, I give myself a draw 4. This Rubik’s Cube? My biggest foe. I’ve never managed to solve it. Not once. My whole life, I’ve just peeled the stickers and stuck them back. I’m absolutely useless.”
Think that proves she isn’t a traitor? Hold that thought—watch till the end for a surprising twist. As the camera pans down and Jasmin assumes filming has stopped, the real picture comes into focus. The actress is heard asking the crew, “Did that seem convincing? I hope I didn’t overdo it. This Glycerin was vegan, right?”
The Traitors, hosted by Karan Johar, boasts a star-studded roster of well-known personalities from various backgrounds. Contestants include Karan Kundrra, Jasmin Bhasin, Raftaar, Raj Kundra, Uorfi Javed, Jannat Zubair, Sumukhi Suresh, Mukesh Chhabra, Anshula Kapoor, Sahil Salathia, Harsh Gujral, Sufi Motiwala, Nikita Luther, Ashish Vidyarthi, Maheep Kapoor, Apoorva Mukhija (also known as Rebel Kid), Purav Jha, Sudhanshu Pandey, and Elnaaz Norouzi.
Produced by BBC Studios India Productions, the reality series will begin streaming on Prime Video starting today, June 12. New episodes are scheduled to release every Thursday at 8 PM.
