Joao Felix Departs Chelsea, Signs With Cristiano Ronaldo’s Al-Nassr
Joao Felix has made the move to Al-Nassr from Chelsea and will now be playing alongside Cristiano Ronaldo.
Premier League side Chelsea confirmed on Tuesday that Joao Felix has transferred to Saudi Pro League club Al-Nassr.
Al-Nassr announced the transfer via social media.
“I’m here to bring joy. Let’s achieve victories together,” read a post from Al-Nassr on X (formerly Twitter).
Joao Felix’s Performance At Chelsea
Felix originally joined Chelsea on a loan deal during the January transfer window of the 2022/23 season. He made a noticeable impression by netting four goals in 20 appearances. His performances prompted Chelsea to secure a permanent deal with Atletico Madrid for £46.3 million.
He then spent the latter part of the 2024/25 season on loan at AC Milan.
Felix started his professional career at Benfica, where his standout displays caught the eye of Atletico Madrid. In the summer of 2019, he completed a record-breaking transfer to the Spanish club. During his time at Atletico, he enjoyed notable achievements, including winning the La Liga title.
On the international stage, Felix has represented Portugal 45 times since his debut in 2019.
The Portuguese forward has now left Chelsea for good, completing a permanent transfer to Al-Nassr in Saudi Arabia.
“We appreciate Joao for his contributions during both of his stints at the club and wish him all the best in his future endeavors,” Chelsea said in an official statement.
