The verdict in the appeal against Vinesh Bhoga’s disqualification has been adjourned for tomorrow.
Indian athlete Vinesh Bhoga has been disqualified from the women’s 50 kg wrestling final at the Paris Olympics after gaining a few grams of body weight, the Olympic Committee announced.
Following this, Vinesh Bhogat appealed his disqualification to the Court of Arbitration for Sport.
He also demanded that his disqualification should be canceled and that he should be given a silver medal if he qualified for the finals.
The case was heard by the International Court of Arbitration for Sport. At that time, it was informed that the judgment of Vinesh Bodh’s appeal case will be announced tomorrow.
