Justice Chandru is the new avatar of DMK’s Policy Outreach Secretary… Annamalai

BJP State President Annamalai has said that Justice Sanduru has taken a new avatar as Policy Propagation Secretary of DMK, unable to tolerate the opposition to his statement.

In the X report published by Annamalai in this regard,

On 12th August 2023, a one-person committee was formed under the leadership of former judge Sanduru on behalf of the Tamil Nadu government to avoid violence arising out of caste and ethnic sentiments among school and college students, to create harmony and to devise methods for the same. The committee’s report was presented to Chief Minister Stalin and details of its recommendations were released to the media.

Many of the recommendations made in the report were unacceptable to the public. Sow diversity among the student community. Therefore, various parties and social organizations, including the BJP, had registered their opposition to certain aspects of the report. On behalf of the Tamil Nadu BJP, on June 19, at a press conference, we spoke about the unacceptable recommendations in this report.

Specifically, a recommendation to bring Kallar Reform and Adi Dravidian welfare schools under the Department of School Education. How can this recommendation be accepted without any research findings on the education of students from these communities or their social progress over the years?

One suggestion is that community teachers, who are the majority in their respective areas, are denied senior positions in those schools.

Why is this doubt on the teaching staff, which has not arisen for so many years since the time of the great leader Kamaraj, the golden age of education, now?

Humorous suggestions include seating students in order of first letter of name to form something called a social justice student group. How can we accept the intervention of the ruling party’s committee in all the work to be done by school principals and class teachers?

The suggestion that only Hindu students should be banned from applying vibhuti, kumkum on their foreheads and tying sacred ropes on their hands can only be seen as symbolic destruction of Hinduism, but for any other reason, it is DMK’s play.

In schools, a dangerous suggestion is to hold student elections. Is it not enough that DMK and other parties entered the college elections and ruined the student community? Do you want to sacrifice school students for your political gains?

That is why, in our executive committee meeting held on July 6, we passed a resolution condemning this former judge Sanduru’s report, which intends to destroy the symbols and culture of our country and our society.

Thus Mr. Chanduru seems upset. In a recent function, while talking about this report, he talked about library, morality and said what BJP knows about these.

Mr. When Sanduru opened a special section for Indian books in the burnt Jaffna library and made arrangements to provide 16,000 books to it, Hon’ble Prime Minister of India Mr. Government led by Narendra Modi. In the same Jaffna, when the cultural center was set up at a cost of about 11 million US dollars, the Prime Minister Mr. Modi is the government.

From the group of DMK government which has opened street to street TASMAC shops, Mr. Sanduru, I would first request you not to lecture us.

Since the DMK came to power, the former judge Mr. Chanduru seems unable to accept the opposition to his statement. Mr. Chanduru himself. What is being protested here is the report of the committee set up by the government which affects the student community all over Tamil Nadu and not the serial or novel written by you. It is the Government of Tamil Nadu that has to answer, not Chanduru as an individual.

Before the DMK came to power, why was there no such caste division among the student community? Sanduru should have been the first question in the report. But to pose that question, one must be an impartial person. In Recommendation No. 19 (c) of the report, when the word saffronization is mentioned, your political position and the purpose of this report are clear.

Chanduru himself. You forget that your work is done with reporting. In a democracy, it is the job of a responsible opposition to support and oppose the government’s public-oriented activities. We are against imposing DMK’s policies on the student community.

If he wants to talk politics, Mr. Chanduru can officially join the DMK. Instead of that, for self-interest, sitting in the committees formed by the government and imposing the policies of DMK on the student community in the name of committee report, with the people’s tax money, I am assured that there will be opposition for sure.
