As part of the Thiruvannamalai Karthigai Deepam festival, seven sacred pots (Thirukudai) were carried from Kanchipuram to Annamalaiyar with great devotion.
The renowned Karthigai Deepam festival at the Thiruvannamalai Annamalaiyar Temple commenced on the 4th of this month with the traditional flag hoisting. The temple administration has made extensive arrangements for the festivities.
In this context, the Hindu Spiritual Seva Samithi Trust in Kanchipuram organized the carrying of seven Thirukudais to Annamalaiyar, containing offerings (Saatham). Devotees gathered along the route to pay their respects and offer prayers.
The founder of the trust, Lingeswaran, mentioned that these offerings symbolize prayers for agricultural prosperity and the well-being of people. This act reflects both spiritual devotion and a commitment to societal welfare.
The procession, supported by enthusiastic devotees, exemplifies the spirit of unity and reverence, highlighting the divine essence of the Karthigai Deepam festival.
