Following Kerala, landslides in Nilgiris in Tamil Nadu and Sakleshpur in Karnataka have affected traffic.

It has been raining heavily since last night in Utagai Gudalur area of ​​Nilgiri district. As a result, trees have fallen and landslides are occurring in many areas.

Traffic was affected due to a landslide especially at the Kudhalur road. The highway department rushed to the spot and removed the soil that had fallen on the road with the help of JCP.

Subsequently, traffic resumed on the national highway from Utaka to Mysore.

However, due to the continuous rains, the Utagai Gudalur road is facing mudslides here and there and the highway department is repairing it 24 hours a day.
