Kristin Cabot Stuns Husband During His Japan Trip With ‘Kiss Cam’ Scandal

Privateer Rum CEO Andrew Cabot’s wife, Kristin, was spotted alongside Astronomer CEO Andy Byron at a Coldplay concert in Boston. The viral footage resulted in both individuals stepping down from their roles.

Kristin Cabot, wife of Privateer Rum CEO Andrew Cabot, was reportedly seen in an intimate moment with Astronomer CEO Andy Byron at a Coldplay concert in Boston, while Andrew was overseas on a work trip in Japan, according to sources cited by the New York Post. The clip of the moment quickly circulated online.

“Andrew had been in Asia for a couple of weeks and returned on Saturday, so he wasn’t around when everything happened,” an unnamed source was quoted in the report.

Andrew and his family were completely stunned and taken aback by Kristin’s behavior, a report quoted by NDTV stated.

“The family now claims they’ve been going through marital difficulties for a few months and were in talks about separating. I find that noteworthy, especially since just a month ago, they were talking about how in love they were,” the source added.

Kristin and Andrew got married in 2022 following the finalization of her previous divorce. Just five months prior to the controversy, the couple had purchased a $2.2 million home in Rye, New Hampshire, suggesting a seemingly secure relationship.

Andrew belongs to the distinguished Cabot lineage — a well-known member of America’s social elite, historically referred to as the ‘Boston Brahmins’. This prestigious class was named by Oliver Wendell Holmes in his 1861 novel Elsie Venner, comparing Boston’s high-society families to the ‘Brahmin Caste of New England’.

Brahmins represent the highest priestly caste in India, and Holmes adopted the term to describe Boston’s elite Anglo-Saxon Protestant families — a label that has remained ever since, NDTV reported.

The Viral Moment

At Coldplay’s Boston performance, cameras captured Byron cozying up behind Cabot at Gillette Stadium, with the scene projected on the Jumbotron. The sudden attention caused both to panic — Byron ducked in an attempt to hide, while Cabot tried covering her face.

Their frantic reaction prompted Coldplay’s Chris Martin to comment humorously that they were either involved in an affair or just very shy.

“Either they’re having an affair or they’re just very shy,” Martin said.

According to more footage captured immediately afterward, he added, “Holy sh-t. I hope we didn’t do something wrong.”

Following the incident, Byron was the first to resign, with Kristin stepping down from her position later on Thursday.
