Kush Shah Recalls Watching KKR Match in Shah Rukh Khan’s Vanity Van
Praising Shah Rukh Khan, Kush Shah mentioned that the Jawan actor would memorise the entire script of the show.
Kush Shah, who became popular through Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah, is presently pursuing his higher education in the United States. The actor exited the show last year, leaving both his co-actors and fans emotional. During his stint on the show, Kush shared screen space with various Bollywood stars who would appear on the show to promote their films. Now, Kush has revealed his favourite memory from the show – working with Shah Rukh Khan.
Speaking on the Just Kidding with Sid podcast, Kush Shah warmly recalled the time Shah Rukh Khan visited the sets of TMKOC to promote Happy New Year. He said,
“There have been many favourite moments. But one of the most memorable was working with SRK. I was fortunate to have worked with Shah Rukh Khan. I have been with him three times and I’ve worked with other stars too when they visited our show. Shah Rukh was on our set for 12 hours – and I’m not exaggerating. No one has stayed that long, he was there for 12 hours.”
Seemingly awestruck by Shah Rukh Khan, Kush Shah went on to share delightful anecdotes from the encounter. He continued,
“Around 4 am, all of us were really hungry and Shah Rukh ordered idli from a nearby Anna. He sent his driver to bring idli from a local Anna. We all sat together and had idli and vada. That’s one of my best and craziest memories.”
Continuing the conversation, Kush also recalled watching a Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) IPL match inside Shah Rukh Khan’s vanity van, describing it as an “amazing experience.”
That wasn’t all. Kush had more to say about the superstar, admitting that he was completely starstruck upon meeting Shah Rukh. Lavishing praise on the actor, Kush called the Jawan star hardworking and well-prepared, noting that he would always arrive on set fully ready. He further appreciated Shah Rukh’s dedication, revealing that he would memorise the entire script of the episode.
For context, Kush Shah has been a part of Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah since its debut on Sony TV. In the beloved sitcom, he portrayed the role of Mr and Mrs Hathi’s son, Goli aka Gulabkumar Hathi.
