Central Home Minister Amit Shah contacted Kerala Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan regarding the landslide in Wayanad.
Amit Shah then promised to help the landslide affected Kerala. Meanwhile, two state-of-the-art helicopters sent by the Air Force reached Wayanad for rescue operations.
