‘Let Anu Meet Anuj’: Fans React To Anupamaa’s Solo Journey In Latest Promo
In the promo, Anupamaa is seen commuting in the crowded Mumbai local train and gets a few glimpses of her new residence in the city of dreams.
Anupamaa, the television drama featuring Rupali Ganguly in the lead role, continues to grip viewers with its compelling storyline, relatable characters, and unexpected plot turns. In the latest promo of the show, Anupamaa is shown relocating to Mumbai to begin a fresh chapter of her life after parting ways with the Shah family. As she enters the bustling city, she encounters major challenges—from navigating the packed local trains to dealing with the solitude that comes with starting afresh. Fans are eager to witness this new phase in her journey, with many hoping for a MaAn reunion in Mumbai.
The promo features Anupamaa travelling via Mumbai’s congested local train, followed by glimpses of her modest new home in the metropolis. As the video progresses, she is shown watching young girls rehearsing dance routines, which reignites her own passion for dancing. This hints at the possibility that Anupamaa may take up a job as a dance instructor in Mumbai to support herself.
Soon after the promo was uploaded online, fans and followers flooded the comment section with their responses. One viewer wrote, “Ab Anu ko Anuj se milwa do yaar.” Another commented, “OMG, what a promo! Finally, the creators realised that the Kathore storyline wasn’t clicking. Anupamaa has always revolved around Anupamaa and the Shah parivaar—that’s the real soul of the show!”
A user on X posted, “Omg omg omg, only Anupamaa on the montage. Please let her meet her Kapadia ji now, at least. If this builds up a stronger Anu and possibly brings MaAn back, I’m watching it without any complaints. @TheRupali, by God, you look stunning! Three years since MaAn shaadi!”
Anupamaa’s chemistry with Anuj Kapadia (played by Gaurav Khanna) had become a fan favourite. Though Gaurav announced his exit from the show last year, MaAn supporters continue to eagerly wait for his return.
Gaurav shared that he would definitely return to Anupamaa if the storyline demanded his presence. He said, “So, for now, Anuj’s chapter is closed, but I consider it a comma, not a full stop. If the narrative calls for it and my schedule permits, I would be happy to return.”
