Manisha Rani’s Strong Statement on Casting Based on Social Media Followers: ‘Without Talent, There’s No Work’
Manisha Rani is preparing to appear in Ravi Dubey and Sargun Mehta’s next venture, Haal-E-Dil.
Manisha Rani, popular for her appearances on reality shows like Bigg Boss OTT Season 2 and Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa 11, is ready to make a big leap in her acting journey. The internet personality is set to star in Ravi Dubey and Sargun Mehta’s upcoming show Haale Dil. She ignited discussion recently when she commented on the trend of selecting influencers based on follower count in the entertainment industry.
During an interaction with Telly Chakkar, Manisha stated, “I don’t think so. I believe that even if someone chooses an influencer because of their follower count, if the person doesn’t have acting ability, they won’t get work.”
“There isn’t just one influencer nowadays—there are thousands. If any of them are receiving acting offers, it means they must have some talent,” she added.
In a recent public appearance, Manisha Rani drew attention in a sparkling silver outfit, radiating both grace and confidence. Her long, flowing dark hair framed her face, enhancing her glamorous image. When asked about her choice of Western wear, she humorously replied, “I’ve worn sarees and suits throughout the show, so I thought, why not wear something Western today?”
Ravi Dubey recently hosted an “Ask Me Anything” session on Instagram, where a fan asked him about working with Manisha Rani. In response, he posted a never-before-seen photo of the two, writing, “We fell in love with Indu… You will, too (sin).” The image shows Ravi hugging Manisha warmly. She reshared the post, adding, “Everyone will love Indu…”, teasing their upcoming series Haale Dil, in which Manisha plays the lead role of Indu.
Although little is known about the storyline, Manisha Rani’s fans are excitedly waiting for her return to the screen.
