A free special general medical camp was conducted for the benefit of the residents of Okenakkal, Ootamalai, Manalmedu, and surrounding hilly areas near Pennagaram in Dharmapuri district.
This medical camp was jointly organized by Seva Bharathi Tamil Nadu and Salem Rhythm Hospital. Various medical specialists participated in the camp, providing essential health check-ups and necessary medical consultations to the local residents.
One of the key highlights of this free medical camp was the arrangement made by Seva Bharathi Tamil Nadu to facilitate advanced treatment for patients in need through the Tamil Nadu government’s health insurance scheme. This ensured that people requiring further medical attention could receive treatment without financial burden.
Moreover, recognizing the challenges faced by residents of remote hilly areas in accessing healthcare facilities, Seva Bharathi officials announced plans to reach out to these regions and provide necessary medical assistance directly to the people. This initiative aims to deliver essential healthcare services to underserved areas.
This medical camp not only helped in diagnosing various illnesses but also ensured that patients received continued medical support. The organizers emphasized their commitment to conducting similar health camps in the future to promote public health and well-being.
