On the occasion of Diwali, the Metro train service has been extended till 12 midnight tomorrow.
Accordingly, the Chennai Metro Rail Administration has announced that the metro trains will be operated from 5 am to 12 pm tomorrow.
From 8 am to 11 am and from 5 pm to 8 pm, metro train will run every 6 minutes from Central to Parangimalai on green line.
It has been informed that metro trains will be operated from Vannarpet to Arianjar Anna Alandur Metro on the blue route at an interval of 3 minutes. It has also been announced that a metro train will run from Vimco Nagar workshop to the airport every 6 minutes.
On Diwali and the day after, metro trains will run from 5 am to 11 pm as per the holiday schedule.
