Minister Nassar’s statement that it would be better if a female executive were given a dhoti and tied like a saree like Kerala women at the Chief Minister’s birthday party has created a controversy.
On the occasion of the Chief Minister’s birthday, DMK members provided welfare assistance to government aided school students in Poonamallee. Minority Welfare Minister Nassar and Poonamallee MLA Krishnasamy participated in this.
At that time, while party executives were given dhoti, Minister Nassar asked to give a dhoti to a female executive.
