Nikki Tamboli’s Diet Is Rooted in Home-Cooked Food and Routine Discipline
Popular for her stints in Bigg Boss Marathi and Celebrity MasterChef, Nikki Tamboli has also made a name for herself with her dedication to fitness. Her enviable physique often draws admiration, with many curious to know the secret behind her wellness regime. In her recent vlog, Nikki gave fans a glimpse into her daily diet—one that’s simple, consistent, and rooted in home-cooked meals.
Nikki begins her mornings with a cup of black coffee blended with ghee, a drink she believes supports fat-burning. Following this, she heads straight to the gym for a cardio workout to kickstart her day.
For breakfast, Nikki opts for a nutrient-rich bowl that she’s been faithfully eating for over three to four years. It includes oats, apples, bananas, pomegranate seeds, mangoes, almonds, and other fruits. She even packs this meal with her when she’s shooting, ensuring she stays on track with her diet wherever she is.
On non-shooting days, Nikki prefers to have lunch with her mother. Her lunch typically features wholesome, homemade dishes like jowar bhakri, brown rice, mixed dal, egg bhurji, and assorted vegetables. She consciously avoids wheat rotis, favouring jowar for its higher protein content. During the summer months, curd rice becomes a regular part of her post-lunch routine. Even while on set, Nikki arranges for her lunch to be brought from home.
In the evening, Nikki drinks a detox green juice made from celery, mint, green apple, cucumber, lemon, and ginger—something she credits for keeping her skin glowing. She also ensures she stays hydrated throughout the day by drinking around 5 litres of water.
Dinner is usually light yet nutritious. Nikki typically eats grilled fish with sautéed vegetables, a portion of brown rice, and a homemade sauce. She shared that she consciously avoids screen time during meals and prefers to sit by her window and enjoy the view while eating. On most days at home, her dinner is done by 6:30 PM.
Nikki Tamboli’s fitness mantra is a mix of consistency, mindful eating, and a strong preference for simple, home-cooked food—a routine that reflects both balance and discipline.
