Known for portraying Rani Lakshmi Bai in the historical drama Jhansi Ki Rani, the actress turned heads on the Cannes 2025 red carpet and shared stunning moments from her stay at the French Riviera. Anushka was recently clicked at Mumbai airport, dressed gracefully in a dreamy white outfit.
In a clip uploaded on Instagram, Anushka Sen was all smiles while posing for the camera, showcasing her excitement post her Cannes appearance. She looked elegant in a white dress featuring tiny prints, slim straps, and a plunging neckline. She chose a minimalistic look, with soft makeup, loose hair, and sunglasses completing her ensemble.
When a paparazzo praised her looks at the Cannes Film Festival, the actress responded warmly, saying, “Bahut bahut shukriya. Bahut achcha laga, itna sundar tha sabkuch (Thank you very much. It felt wonderful, everything was so beautiful).” She followed it with a cute Korean-style finger heart gesture. Before leaving, she gave a sweet wave to the cameras and proceeded to her car. Speaking about her Cannes debut, Anushka looked divine in a lavender off-shoulder gown intricately embroidered throughout. She shared that her outfit was a blend of traditional Indian handwork with a modern design, requiring “611 hours, 34 artisans, and several months of planning.”
The gown also had a dramatic train that added extra flair to her appearance. She paired it with glamorous makeup, a stylish hairdo, and statement dangler earrings.
Earlier, Anushka Sen was appointed as the Honorary Ambassador of Korean Tourism for fostering cultural ties between India and South Korea. Besides Baalveer and Jhansi Ki Rani, she has appeared in Fear Factor: Khatron Ke Khiladi 11 and Dil Dosti Dilemma.
