Old procedure again in Tirupati.. Tirumala Devasthanam issued action order!

Devasthanam officer Shyamala Rao has directed the IT department to resume scanning of tokens.

Tirumala Tirupati Devasthan Executive Officer J. Shyamala Rao has asked IT department officials to resume scanning of Divya Darshan tokens on both corridors leading to devotees to the Tirupati Venkateswara temple.

Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanam Administrator has emphasized the need to set up electronic boards at Narayangiri Garden to scan the Divya Darshan tokens of devotees walking from Lower Tirupati to Tirumala Tirupati Venkateswara Perumal Temple. It displays information regarding approximate waiting time for darshan.

Tirumala Tirupati Devasthan Administrative Officer J Shyamala Rao inspected the cottages and guest houses in Tirumala on Tuesday.

After Shyamala Rao assumed office as the Administrative Officer of Tirumala Tirupati Devasthan, on June 18, he has been holding regular review meetings with heads of various departments. For the third day in a row, he examined various fields.

Vigilance personnel have been directed to ensure that darshan quota tickets issued to various government departments are not misused.

Officials have been asked to come up with a detailed list of those who get frequent accommodation and misuse the facility and take strict action against them.

Shyamala Rao emphasized the need to depute an officer in the rank of Assistant Administrative Officer during peak days with the help of a team of officers from Health, Alms and Srivari Service to meet the needs of the devotees.

Panchayat and Revenue Department officials briefed Tirumala Tirupati Devasthan Administrator regarding land allotment, grant of material permission to donor huts, hotels, shops and traders.

Meanwhile, the engineering officials have painted the 4-storey roads, sanctum, prakaram, Bedi Anjaneya Swamy Temple, Vahana Mandapam and Rampakaicha Guest House in war-era style.
